COMMON ENTRANCE EXAM FOR DESIGN 2025
CEED 2025 examination will consist of two parts, Part-A and Part-B. Candidates must attempt questions from both the parts.
Part-A contains objective questions of three types: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), and Multiple Select Question (MSQ). Answers to Part-A have to be given on the computer. These will be design aptitude type questions that evaluate visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity of the candidates.
Part-B consists of five questions that are aimed at testing design, drawing and writing skills. The questions in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answers are to be written in the answer book provided by the invigilator.
The final score is calculated as follows.
Final score = 0.25 × Marks scored in Part-A + 0.75 × Marks scored in Part-B

CEED 2025 Registration Form must be submitted through the online application website. Registration portal will open on October 01, 2024.
Please read the information given in the Information Brochure before filling out the form. If you face any problem while filling the form, you can report it by clicking the "Report Problem" button on the right side of the form.
PwD candidates can avail services of a scribe (amanuensis) for Part-A of the examination, but not for Part-B. See the information brochure for requisite forms and details.
Candidates must have completed a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum THREE years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2025, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2025.
Admit Cards will be available for downloading from January 03, 2025 till the date of the examination. Please take a clear printout of the Admit Card before coming to the examination centre.

CEED result will be declared on this website on March 05, 2025.
The CEED 2025 Score Card can be downloaded from March 10, 2025 from Candidate portal. It is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result. For more details, refer the Information Brochure. The CEED 2025 Score Card cannot be treated as a proof of date of birth, category or disability status.
CEED qualified students are eligible to apply for the MDes and PhD programmes in various institutes. The CEED 2025 score is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result.
Note that qualifying in CEED does NOT guarantee admission to any programme. After qualifying, candidates must apply to the respective institutes for admission and fulfil other requirements, such as tests and/or interviews, of the respective institutes to become eligible for admission. The announcement for admission to the postgraduate programmes in design will be notified separately by these institutes. Candidates are advised to visit the websites of the respective institutes for information and application procedures for their programmes.
The UCEED-CEED Office, IIT Bombay, does not provide information about the criteria for postgraduate admission and award of scholarship/assistance at different institutes. This information may be obtained from the websites of the respective institutes. For any specific queries on admission and programmes, the candidate should contact the head/convener/coordinator of the design programme at the concerned institute. Any queries in this matter to the UCEED-CEED Office, IIT Bombay, will NOT be entertained. This office will be sharing the candidate information with the result-sharing institutes. The updated list of result-sharing institutes will be available on the official CEED 2025 website.
